Delivery Associate
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Must always represent The Hicks Delivery Group in a professional manner
- Drives van from delivery station to designated customer areas
- Uses hand-held device for routing information, customer delivery information, to communicate with delivery station and leadership.
- Loads and unloads packages into/out of van, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to easily get in and out of the van, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Inspects van equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and exterior of the van for damage.
- Maintains contact with leadership to receive delivery instructions if unclear or if problems arise.
- Secures packages to ensure no damage is caused to customer delivery.
- Follows all safety rules and company policies.
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
