ICU Registered Nurse Opportunity

Seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to provide specialized care in a busy neuro ICU unit. The role involves managing neurologically complex patients, ensuring excellent patient outcomes, and adhering to unit policies and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill neurological patients, including post-thrombectomy, TPA, and neurosurgery cases.
• Administer medications, including IV therapies and neuro-specific treatments, following physician orders and safety guidelines.
• Perform advanced procedures such as bedside EVD placement, A-line monitoring, and CRRT.
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license and current ACLS, BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, preferably in neurology or neuro-critical care.
• Have proven skills in managing neuro post-thrombectomy, TPA, and neurosurgical patients.
• Demonstrate proficiency in bedside procedures such as EVD management and A-line monitoring.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced unit while adhering to safety and documentation standards.
