Desk Security Officer

Join Blackwell, Inc. as a Desk Security Officer , where you'll combine your security experience with administrative precision to ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for residents, guest, tenants, and vendors.
This role is ideal for individuals with a background in security operations, administrative support, and reporting systems , who thrive in structured environments and enjoy being the central point of contact.

Weekly Work Schedule:
- Days of the week: Saturday - Wednesday
- Start and End Time: 3:00PM - 11:00PM
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, vendors, and visitors
- Manage access control, including issuing and terminating access badges
- Provide parking validations and monitor visitor check-in/out procedures
- Assist the property access during special events and deliveries
- Maintain and organize front desk supplies and documentation
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally
- Monitor security systems including cameras, alarms, and specialized software
- Observe and report incidents accurately and promptly
- Facilitate emergency notifications and response procedures
- Maintain detailed logs and reports using digital tools
- Perform additional property-specific duties as assigned
- 21+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Current St. Louis Security License (or ability to obtain one)
- 1+ year of security experience (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and re porting software
- Experience with security monitoring systems (preferred)
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Availability for weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts (preferred)
