Job Duties for Regional Director of Operations Define, implement, and communicate the strategic direction for the organization’s operations division. Partner with executive leadership to achieve company objectives, providing expertise and guidance on operational strategies, systems, and initiatives. Collaborate cross‑functionally with departments to support and execute organizational goals. Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements, technologies, and systems to enhance efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization. Ensure departmental decisions and project plans—including staffing, organizational design, material usage, capital investments, and facilities—align with the company’s overall business strategy and vision. Develop, communicate, and enforce operational policies, standards, procedures, and security measures to ensure consistent and effective execution. Review and approve cost‑control analyses, project budgets, and staffing plans to ensure financial efficiency. Oversee and manage the department’s budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources. Deliver regular performance reports, insights, and key metrics to the CEO and senior leadership team. Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in operations management. Assess organizational training needs and ensure the development and delivery of effective training programs. Demonstrated experience in Healthcare Administration or Healthcare Management. Minimum of 5–7 years of leadership experience in the skilled nursing, assisted living, or elder care industry. Proven experience managing multiple locations or centers simultaneously. Massachusetts Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) required. Strong background in staff development and training within long‑term care settings. Ability to maintain reliable attendance and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Must meet all health requirements and successfully pass background screenings in accordance with regulatory standards.
