Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 7 to 7, every other weekend

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN to join the Intensive Care Unit on a travel contract in Alexandria, LA. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse with specialized ICU experience to contribute in a dynamic hospital setting. The role involves providing total care to patients, including those with COVID-19, utilizing advanced technologies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

Provide total care for ICU patients, including those with COVID-19
Manage ventilators and critical care drips
Conduct thorough assessments focusing on cardiac, neuro, and respiratory systems
Perform procedures such as intubations and cardioversions
Maintain high standards of patient experience through hourly rounding and bedside hand-off reporting

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

Valid ACLS and BLS certifications; TNCC is a plus
Experience in ICU settings with ventilator management skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to work with COVID-19 patients
Proficient in critical care and advanced procedure skills
