Title
Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Previous charge experience required
- Valid WA or Compact RN license at time of submission
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Experience with Phase I and Phase II PACU care

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, managing their recovery from anesthesia.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and patient education.
- Monitor patients' cardiac status and administer IV/arterial/central/PICC line management; manage vasoactive infusions.
- Ensure pain management, including administration of patient-controlled analgesia (PCA).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate patient care and discharge instructions.
- Recognize and respond to dysrhythmias and other changes in patient condition.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 8 hours
- RTO (requested time off) must be listed at time of submission; requests post-submittal may not be approved.
- Parking: No fee
- Scrub color: Any color accepted across units
