Access Care LLC is an adult day health care center committed to providing safe, compassionate, and reliable care to our participants. Transportation plays a vital role in ensuring our clients arrive safely and comfortably to and from our center each day.

The Driver is responsible for safely transporting participants to and from Access Care LLC while providing courteous, respectful, and dependable service. This role is essential in maintaining participant safety, dignity, and overall satisfaction.

• Safely transport participants to and from the center according to assigned routes and schedules

• Assist participants with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed, including wheelchair securement when applicable

• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness

• Maintain accurate transportation logs and attendance records

• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and state regulations

• Communicate effectively with administrative staff regarding schedule changes, delays, or participant concerns

• Maintain a professional, respectful, and patient demeanor at all times

• Report any vehicle issues, incidents, or safety concerns immediately

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Reliable vehicle or ability to operate company-provided vehicle (as applicable)

• Current auto insurance (if using personal vehicle)

• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• TB test and background check required

• Ability to lift and assist participants as needed

• Strong communication and time-management skills

• Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals is a plus

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and assist participants throughout the shift

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance
