Hospitalist Physician (Hybrid)

**Job Details**Jefferson Health is seeking a Hybrid Hospitalist Physician to support our New Jersey campuses, with a primary base at Washington Township and rotational coverage at Cherry Hill and Stratford. This role offers a dynamic practice environment across multiple community hospital settings, providing a diverse patient population and collaborative care experience.**Job Description****Key Responsibilities:*** Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of hospitalized patients across assigned campuses.* Rotate between Washington Township, Cherry Hill, and Stratford locations to support clinical coverage needs and maintain continuity of care.* Participate in patient admissions, daily rounding, and discharge planning.* Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.* Respond to medical emergencies, including Rapid Response and Code Blue events.* Ensure accurate and timely documentation using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development.* Support and mentor medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers, as applicable.**Qualifications:*** MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.* Active New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain).* Active DEA and CDS registrations.* Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.* Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Prior hospitalist experience in a community or academic setting.* Experience working across multiple sites or in a hybrid/float model.* Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems.* Interest in teaching and academic engagement.**Why Jefferson Health:**Jefferson Health offers a collaborative, mission-driven environment across a growing network of hospitals in the Delaware Valley.
