Healthcare Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Project Manager to lead and coordinate healthcare projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will manage project planning, stakeholder communication, budgets, timelines, risk management, and cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and close healthcare projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clinical, operational, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and organizational policies.
• Manage project budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement activities.
• Facilitate meetings, prepare reports, and maintain project documentation.
• Lead change management initiatives and support user adoption.
• Track project KPIs and recommend process improvements.
• Resolve project issues and escalate critical concerns when necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or Monday.com.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or related field).
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certification.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) implementations.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA (or applicable regional healthcare compliance requirements).
