Position Overview

Sunset Chicken is hiring motivated, dependable team members to join our growing team in Cape Coral.

We are a fast-growing quick-service restaurant serving fresh, high-quality chicken tenders, wings, signature sauces, sides, fresh-brewed tea, and more. We pride ourselves on fast, friendly service, clean restaurants, and a strong team culture.

We are currently hiring Crew Members and Shift Leaders . Whether you are looking to build restaurant experience or already have leadership experience and are ready for more responsibility, we are looking for reliable, energetic people who want to grow with us.

Available Positions

Crew Members

Crew Members play a key role in delivering an excellent guest experience while supporting front-of-house and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet guests with energy and professionalism
• Take accurate orders using our POS system
• Prepare food according to Sunset Chicken standards
• Expedite orders quickly and accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Work efficiently during busy periods
• Support teammates and communicate clearly
• Help create a positive guest experience

Shift Leaders

Shift Leaders are working leaders who actively participate in daily restaurant operations while helping guide and support the team during their shifts.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform all Crew Member responsibilities as needed
• Lead by example and maintain a sense of urgency
• Help direct team members during assigned shifts
• Ensure food quality, accuracy, cleanliness, and customer service standards are followed
• Coach and support team members throughout the shift
• Help manage opening and closing procedures
• Monitor order flow and assist with maintaining fast ticket times
• Resolve basic guest concerns professionally
• Support cash-handling and shift procedures
• Communicate operational issues to management
• Help maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications

For All Positions:

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Dependable, punctual, and reliable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and follow established procedures
• Ability to maintain a sense of urgency during busy periods
• Restaurant experience preferred but not required for Crew Members
• Full-time availability with scheduling based on business needs
• Open availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• For Shift Leaders:
• Previous restaurant or quick-service experience preferred
• Previous leadership, key-holder, trainer, or shift-lead experience preferred
• Ability to coach and direct team members
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and make good decisions during busy periods
• Dependable availability and willingness to help support restaurant operations
