RPG Programmer (Covington)

**MUST RESIDE IN THE UNITED STATES**

MEDTRON, a leading provider of medical practice management software, seeks a senior software developer/analyst to join our team.

The successful candidate must possess the following:

• Several years of experience developing native iSeries applications.
• Must be proficient with RPG, ILE, DDS, CL and willing to support existing RPG applications.
• Must be proficient with SQL.

Experience with any of the following is also desirable:

• Medical practice management software, healthcare applications and HL7 interfaces.
• Windows platform interfaces.
• Interfacing PC-based devices with iSeries.
• IFS access and TCP/IP sockets.
• Developing interfaces to distributed GUI applications.

Applicant must be motivated, reliable, detail-oriented and eager to learn. 

We strongly prefer candidates who can work at our office in Covington, LA, however we are open to discussing remote arrangements for the right candidate.

Salary to be determined based on experience and knowledge.
