Maintenance Planner

Mechanical/ TAR Planner

Skills:

1. Ability to read and understand industrial pipe drawings and specifications
2. SAP experience
3. Proficient in Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
4. Leadership, organizational, time management and facilitation skills
5. Excellent interpersonal skills
6. Material and labor estimating
7. Ability to work autonomously in the field with little supervision

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Plans the mechanical and piping maintenance/TAR work for operating facility
2. Provides effective job plans to accomplish work completion in an efficient and effective manner, including material & tool requirements labor estimates, and work instructions
3. Plans mechanical maintenance work with special attention paid to all control of work and regulatory requirements that may apply.
4. Identifies the need for outside Contractors and associated scope of work
5. Reviews submitted work orders for completeness and accuracy communicating with Operations & Maintenance Coordinators as needed
6. Develops and insures the accuracy of Bill of Materials making edits and additions as needed in SAP
7. Identifies part discrepancies, additional work needed, work task edits, reoccurring problems in area of responsibility through review of completed work orders in order to improve future job packages
8. Assist scheduler with identification of work order simultaneous operations, coordination constraints, and sequencing.
