Store Manager

ENROUTE is a cycling and run retailer with a growing presence in both retail and e-commerce. We focus on high-performance cycling and running apparel, components, and equipment serving riders and runners across the globe. Role Overview As Store Manager, you will lead our Boulder store and bring the ENROUTE experience to our Colorado community. You will oversee all aspects of daily store operations, drive sales performance, develop and inspire a high-performing team, and deliver a great customer experience. You will build a culture of product expertise, operational excellence, and community engagement while upholding the standards of the ENROUTE brand. Reports to: General Manager Location: Boulder, CO Compensation: $75,000–$95,000 per year (USD) Employment Type: Full-time Eligibility: Authorized to work in the United States Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing sales team Lead, coach, and motivate staff to consistently exceed sales and service goals Schedule staff to balance great customer service with labour budgets Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment Customer Experience Deliver a great customer experience through personalised service and expert product recommendations Ensure staff are knowledgeable about technical apparel, footwear, accessories, and current product innovations Resolve customer concerns professionally and build long-term customer loyalty Build relationships with the local running and cycling communities Sales & Business Performance Achieve and exceed sales, profitability, and key performance metrics Review sales reports and identify opportunities to improve results Execute promotional campaigns and seasonal merchandising strategies Monitor inventory levels and maintain healthy stock availability Store Operations Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting Maintain strong visual merchandising and store presentation standards Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and loss prevention procedures Coordinate inventory counts, receiving, transfers, e-commerce order fulfilment, and stock replenishment Community Engagement Support local races, rides, clinics, and community events Build partnerships with local clubs, coaches, and organizations Represent the store and brand with professionalism and enthusiasm What We're Looking For 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in specialty retail, sporting goods, outdoor, or technical apparel Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop successful retail teams Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising A track record of achieving sales targets and business objectives Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills Comfortable using retail POS systems and inventory management software Personal experience with running, cycling, triathlon, or endurance sports Knowledge of technical apparel fabrics, layering systems, footwear, hydration, and accessories Experience organising or taking part in community events and group activities Health benefits package Opportunities for career growth within a growing specialty retailer #J-18808-Ljbffr Enroute Cycling Inc.
