Endoscopy Technician

Hourly Wage Estimate $20.55 - $28.78 per hour Job Summary As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play an important role in helping provide safe and effective procedures to patients undergoing GI and endoscopy procedures. Your careful work preparing equipment and maintaining a clean, well‑organized environment will protect patients and empower caregivers to deliver quality care. Responsibilities Prepare procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verify that equipment is in proper working order, and keep supplies organized and stocked. Assist in positioning and transporting patients safely and comfortably while using proper body mechanics to protect both patients and yourself. Support physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy equipment, and maintain accurate records for quality and safety. Communicate with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keep them informed, and support their privacy and comfort throughout their care. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. High School Graduate or GED.
