Concrete Foreman

Location(s): West Virginia and Iowa
Travel: 100% Traveling Position

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to join a growing heavy civil construction team. This is a 100% traveling position , with work taking place on projects across West Virginia, Iowa, and potentially other locations as project needs require.

The company’s concrete division primarily focuses on heavy highway and bridge construction , but strong residential concrete candidates will also be considered if they have the leadership experience and technical ability to transition into heavy civil work.

• Lead and manage a concrete crew of approximately 4–5 employees

• Oversee day-to-day concrete construction activities and ensure projects stay on schedule

• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and daily production

• Read and understand plans, specifications, and project requirements

• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and productivity

• Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and other field personnel

• Train and mentor crew members

• Learn and implement company-specific systems, processes, and procedures

• Troubleshoot field issues and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

• Travel 100% of the time to assigned project locations

• Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman, Lead, or similar field leadership role

• Ability to confidently lead a crew of 4–5 employees

• Heavy highway, bridge, or commercial concrete experience preferred

• Strong residential concrete experience will also be considered

• Ability and willingness to learn new systems, processes, and technology

• Strong understanding of concrete construction methods and best practices

• Ability to read plans and communicate effectively with project leadership

• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality

• Willingness to travel 100% and work away from home for extended periods
