Working with the owner, we provide expert operation, maintenance, and asset management for public and private systems. We are currently looking for a talentedWATER / WASTEWATER OPERATIONS SPECIALIST to join our growing team in the Jackson, Michigan area. We support our staff through training, and on-going certifications to enhance their professional development. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain wastewater and water treatment facilities systemsPerform troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of water and wastewater mechanical and electrical systemsPerform sampling and process control laboratory analysisOperate and maintain pump stations, well houses and valvesPrepare field reportsGeneral maintenance of work area and equipment Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) requiredObtain water and/or wastewater certifications within 18 monthsWater / sewer experience desirable, EGLE certifications a plusExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsTeam player who is willing to pitch in F&V offers a competitive salary, benefitsand career development opportunities.
