JOB DETAILS We are looking for CONTRACT mobile phlebotomists to collect samples in patients' homes or workplaces via nasal swab or venipuncture. This role involves drawing samples for blood-based tests that utilize genomics and proteomics to provide individualized insights into tumor biology. Testing for COVID-19 will be conducted for asymptomatic individuals or those who have recovered from the disease. Virtual training provided for all sample types and kits. NOTE This is a contract position , with payment remitted within 30 days of invoice . EQUIPMENT All necessary kits and draw supplies (needles, tourniquet, tubes, etc.) will be provided. Reliable transportation is essential since samples will be collected at patients' homes or workplaces. Contractors must supply their own gloves, sharps container , and access to an appropriate disposal service . Access to a smartphone, computer/laptop, and printer is required to receive orders and print documents. Must have a process for securely managing and destroying PHI as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES Contact each patient within 24 hours. Schedule appointments promptly (within 1 to 3 days). Communicate effectively with the office regarding scheduling, patient concerns, or collection issues. Collect specimens in accordance with kit instructions to ensure accurate testing. Pack and ship samples on the same day using FedEx materials provided by the company. Invoicing for draws should be completed promptly to ensure timely payment. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Demonstrated excellence in phlebotomy skills, particularly in venipuncture. A minimum of 1 full year of phlebotomy experience within the last 3 years. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and issue reporting. Compassionate care provided to patients who may be sensitive or fragile due to illness. Must adhere closely to established procedures and exercise sound judgement. Highly organized in contacting and scheduling patients while communicating with the office. Exemplary time management skills to ensure all draws are conducted efficiently. Technical proficiency in managing electronic communications, including printing and scanning.
