Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

$2545.92/week –

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Neuro/PCU RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced stepdown unit. The role involves collaborating with medical teams to ensure optimal outcomes for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.

• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.

• Document patient information thoroughly in the electronic health record system.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans.

• Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health management.

• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina or Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a telemetry, stepdown, or ICU setting.

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Telemetry competency required.

• Ability to float within scope to similar units or sister facilities as needed.

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
