Manager, Quality & Informatics

Job Title Manager, Quality and Informatics Schedule Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Department Nursing Administration Responsibilities Responsible for administration of all quality related activities in the organization, including but not limited to clinical quality, data abstraction/Data Analysis, risk management/patient safety, accreditation/regulatory compliance, infection prevention/control, employee health measures, contracted services and case management. Oversees and facilitates the integration of clinical processes with information technology using clinical informatics science and methodologies with a focus on patient care. The position will hold responsibility for operational support of clinical information systems utilized by providers at the system level with oversight of a multidisciplinary team. This position will collaborate with clinical leadership, medical staff, operations, and other departments across the system, in accordance with evidence-based practices, processes and procedures. Qualifications and Requirements 2 year/ Associate degree from an accredited school of nursing, or Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing Program required; 4 year/Bachelor’s preferred. Current license by the Texas Board of Nursing Current BLS Current ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC preferred Experience Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred.
