Warehouse Associate
Location: Solon, OH Type: Temp (Possible Temp-to-Perm) Hours: Mon-Fri, 11:00 AM 7:30 PM Shift: 2nd Pay Rate: $20.00 hr.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers or other divisions.
- Load/unload common carrier and company vehicles.
- Assemble customer orders for UPS/LTL shipment.
- Process paperwork regarding shipments (verify items, prepare BOL for LTL, follow shipping instructions, insure shipment if needed).
- Gather and verify assembled orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Pack orders into containers and organize by truck route.
- Verify shipped items and quantities against invoices.
Qualifications
- Stable work history
- Updated resume
- 612 months warehouse experience
- 6+ months order picking experience with focus on accuracy and quality
- Experience with forklifts (sit-down, reach truck) and pallet jacks
- Strong accountability and reliable attendance
- Steel toed boots required
Preferred:
- Experience with RF scanners
- Open to coaching/feedback and career development
- Strong communication skills
Requirements
- Must have excellent attendance record
- Must pass background and reference checks
- Capable of physical labor and able to operate PIT equipment (sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, reach truck, order picker)
- No driving duties at any time
