INNIO employs over 5,000 people worldwide and is committed to moving energy forward.Join INNIO in Waukesha, WI as a Global Customs & Trade Compliance Manager and play a key role in ensuring global trade compliance, optimizing customs processes, and driving supply chain efficiency across our international operations.What you’ll do: Realization of potential savings through the optimization of the supply chain and the associated customs burdenPreparing and submitting customs declarations and other required documentationCommunicating with government agencies to resolve customs-related issuesMaintaining accurate records and documentation of all customs transactionsWorking with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with customs regulations and the commerce control listClassifying and valuing imported goods in accordance with customs regulations and staying up-to-date on changes in customs regulations and proceduresWhat you’ll have: Certification as a Customs Specialist (e.g. Certified Customs Specialist or Customs Broker License)Experience with trade agreements (e.g. Free Trade Agreements, USMCA, etc.)Knowledge of import/export regulations, procedures and documentation requirementsA degree or certification in logistics, supply chain management, international trade, or a related field5+ years of experience in customs clearance and complianceStrong knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance proceduresExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software (Oracle)Competence to explain complex regulations in simple, clear language while maintaining a customer-first approach.
