Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Expected schedule includes every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4 depending on acuity
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
• Perform procedures and interventions appropriate to Level III or higher NICU care
• Maintain a detail-oriented and organized approach to patient care in a fast-paced neonatal environment
• Float to Pediatrics, PICU, or Mother Baby (babies only) as needed
• Adhere to unit dress code: navy blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina (or compact license eligibility)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred
• NIC-RNC (Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Certification) preferred
• Experience floating to Pediatrics, PICU, or Mother Baby units
