Meet Up Coordinator for Hike and Music Event for Young Adults with Schizophrenia

Whole Mind Symphony

Overview We are starting an exciting Meet Up to provide an opportunity for young adults living with schizophrenia to meet and make friends once a month, going on a hike or playing music. Responsibilities Create and monitor an attractive Meet Up page. Moderate questions about the event. Email the digital poster to all NAMI branches in LA County (National Alliance for Mental Illness) and partner mental health non-profits to invite those who have been living in isolation to participate in a safe social activity, meeting and making friends, accompanied by the therapist Carlos Duarte, who is also a musician. Support the event day (lasting 1 hour) by handing out snacks and beverages to participants. Take photos of the event with participant consent and create posts on Whole Mind Symphony's Instagram and Facebook pages highlighting the event. #J-18808-Ljbffr Whole Mind Symphony
