Forklift Operator 1st Shift

Overview Position: Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator Ryder is hiring in Lake Worth, FL — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. Pay & Schedule: Hourly pay $18.97 per hour. Schedule: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; Monday through Friday. Ryder supports distribution across the US with various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles. Products & Equipment: Management of inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors, etc. Equipment includes stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks. Benefits Paid Training and support to take your next step Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) etc. Start at 30 Days Paid Time Off 401(k) company match Employee stock/discount programs available (discount on select items) Employee Discounts on tools, cars, hotels, electronics/appliances, cell phones, travel, and more Safety gear provided Caring leadership prioritizing safety – every shift, every role Focus on continuous improvement designed for success Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Minimum of two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience Ability to read, perform basic mathematics, and follow written and verbal safety instructions in English Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Ability to input data into computer systems Work overtime as assigned Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to meet Ryder’s driving qualifications Responsibilities Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions Identify and correct potential process errors before they affect the customer Identify damaged product and take appropriate action Pull orders accurately as assigned Stage orders according to carrier location and verify pallets and stage locations Prepare receiving, storage, and shipping documentation and maintain product accountability Follow location and work center safety and security policies and procedures May train others in warehouse functions and operate various powered industrial lift equipment Perform housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned Operate forklift equipment or other warehouse machinery Ryder is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
