Job Title:RN Circulator
Overview of Responsibilities:The Registered Nurse will take on the responsibility and accountability for the surgical care of patients at our center, working closely with other healthcare professionals throughout the nursing process.
Key Responsibilities:- Continuously monitor patients during the surgical procedure.
- Oversee the operation of monitoring devices, fluid lines, tubes, drains, and catheters as necessary, including support for the surgical extremity.
- Exercise sound judgment in assessing nursing actions and maintain composure in emergency situations.
- Achieve and maintain certification in CPR, PALS, and ACLS.
- Make independent clinical decisions regarding the nursing care needs of patients and communicate these to the relevant personnel.
- Exhibit a collaborative spirit and utilize work time effectively.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in the state.
- Certification in CPR and ACLS is mandatory.
- At least one year of experience in the operating room is required.
- Experience in orthopedic surgery is preferred.
