Senior Electronic Security Systems Designer - Boston, MA (Hybrid Work Environment) About Us! Our Technology Design Group works on mission critical projects supporting telecom, audio/visual and security systems. You will lead projects and coordinate Revit designers. Learn more about our culture at The total compensation that we expect to pay for this position is dependent on years of experience, licensure, education, geographic location, and project portfolio but expected to be in the $100,000 to $150,000 range.
- Define and develop requirements based on customer input and need, research equipment, and create basis of design documents, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Project managerto coordinatewith architects and construction staff to lead the securityportionof construction planning.
- Oversee the final system testing and turnover and ensure the proper system and operations documentation is furnished to the client.
- 10+ years' experience in designing, budgeting, programming, and engineering of traditional and IP based security systems, including access control, intrusion detection and closed-circuit TV
- Project management ability including the managing of multiple large projects and personnel
- Revit or AutoCAD is a plus
- Technology infrastructure and audio-visual competence, consulting and design is a plus
