The Accounting Manager will plan and direct accounting activities within a finance department or division of an organization by performing the following duties, personally or through subordinate supervisors. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Plymouth, MN - HybridYour Responsibilities:Provide direction and leadership in the management of accounting practices.Oversee the maintenance of the company's general ledgers.Assist in managing the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Oversee journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.Develop policies and procedures to support the organization's accounting policies.Interact with outside auditors and participate in occasional auditing projects or provide information and access to general ledger and other accounting records as required.Manage employees by establishing, reviewing, and providing feedback regarding annual performance goals.Develop and determine priorities and monitor status of special projects on an ongoing basis.Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements (e.g., automation) for faster, more accurate financial reporting.Your Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting8+ years of Accounting experience4+ years of people leadership experiencePreferred Qualifications:CPAManufacturing experienceYour Benefits:Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance401K retirement plan with employer matchPaid time off and company-paid holidaysPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local lawTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous serviceWork visa sponsorship is not available for this positionThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000-$153,300 + 10% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls.
