Cytology Technologist Schedule

Day shifts, M - F 8a - 5:30p

Cytotechnologist Duties:

• Performs routine screening of specimens, reports results and documents daily workload records.
• Performs cytological examinations of GYN and non-GYN specimens.
• Evaluates processed specimens from multiple collection devices according to manufacturers' specifications.
• Performs quality control assessment, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Assists with the collection and processing of fine needle aspiration specimens.

ASCP Cytotechnologist Requirements/Qualifications:

• CT (ASCP) or eligible within one year of employment.
