Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Cardio OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years cardiac experience License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, Crisis Protocol Approved Must-Have: Scrubbing experience required Description: This position is for a CVOR Tech in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. The schedule consists of 4/10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The role includes call responsibilities, with 10 call shifts every 6 weeks. You will work weekends as part of the schedule. The average number of cases per day in the unit is 2, with an average of 4 cases. Common procedures include CABG, TAVR, and minimally invasive and open valve replacements. Scrubbing is required for this position. All staff members are required to participate in call rotation. The call response time is 30 minutes. There is a mandatory call/standby requirement for the role. The team uses the Epic EMR system for charting. Unit/department-specific orientation will be provided. The cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. The role requires individuals to work in an acute care setting.
