Calm Quest Wellness Clinic is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.
  • Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively treat clients.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and offer practical guidance on treatment options and self-care techniques.
  • Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care.
  • Stay informed of the latest research in mood disorders and mental health treatment to enhance therapy practices and improve client outcomes.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development workshops.
  • Advocate for clients, helping to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health challenges and ensuring their needs are met.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client focus for this position includes individuals suffering from a range of mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will have the opportunity to support various groups, including vulnerable populations like the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. This role is crucial in facilitating recovery and reinforcing resilience within these communities.

Qualifications
  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude are essential in providing support to clients from all walks of life.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills are critical for managing a diverse caseload effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in outpatient settings and working with mood disorders is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices will be advantageous.
  • Engagement in continuing education focused on innovative therapeutic techniques and addiction counseling.
Compensation and Benefits
  • The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to USD 90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
