Job Responsibilities of the Dentist As a member of the dental team, you will: * Perform dental procedures in accordance with American Dental Association (ADA) standards. * Interpret radiological images to develop and execute patient treatment plans. * Provide patient education, supported by interpreters as needed. * Perform a wide range of procedures, including: * Composite and silver amalgam restorations. * Simple and surgical dental extractions. * Root canal therapy. * Fabrication of complete and partial dentures. * Treat patients with moderate to severe dental infections. * Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure positive patient outcomes. * Participate in chart audits, quality assurance evaluations, and training of dental staff. * Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold patient privacy. * Promote a positive work culture and uphold clinic policies, including confidentiality. Requirements for the Dentist Position * Education: * Licensed to practice dentistry in Washington State . * DEA license and current CPR certification (or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe). * Skills: * Proficiency in a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative and surgical. * Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and electronic dental records.
