Shipping Coordinator - 2nd Shift

Pay: Starting at $19.00/hour + Shift Premium (after completion of 1st shift training)

Training Requirement:
Candidates must be available to train on 1st shift for approximately 2-3 months before transitioning to 2nd shift.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join a growing manufacturing and distribution team. In this role, you will help ensure customer orders are accurately prepared, packaged, documented, and shipped on time. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining quality and accuracy throughout the shipping process.

Key Responsibilities

• Package finished products and prepare cartons or pallets for shipment.
• Verify quantities and ensure orders are accurately processed.
• Operate packaging equipment, including box-taping machinery and pallet lift tables.
• Transfer pallets and load shipments using powered industrial equipment.
• Maintain inventory records and update finished goods inventory.
• Generate and process shipping documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Ability to frequently lift and carry 30-50 pounds.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required; training is available.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
