Lead Infrastructure Engineer (Infrastructure Platforms)

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts, with at least 5 years of applied experience
• Deep knowledge of one or more infrastructure engineering areas, such as hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessment
• Hands-on Cisco, Arista, and Fortinet networking expertise, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and routing
• Proven experience delivering network migration projects
• Expertise in BGP and OSPF routing protocols
• Knowledge of switching concepts including VLANs, STP, LACP, and port channels
• Operational experience configuring, troubleshooting, and validating networks
• Ability to execute migrations, including pre- and post-migration checks and cutover activities
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI tools in infrastructure engineering workflows, with careful output validation and awareness of data sensitivity
• Ability to review AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalate uncertainty, and ensure results meet resiliency, security, and auditability expectations
• Experience operating or migrating across public and private clouds, plus relevant scripting skills such as Python and basic data fluency
• This role is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act; an offer is contingent on our review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries

• Apply technical expertise and problem-solving methods to infrastructure projects of moderate scope, including performance testing, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Lead a workstream or project involving one or more infrastructure engineering technologies, partnering across platforms to architect and implement changes that resolve issues and modernize technology and processes
• Assess upstream and downstream data, systems, and technical impacts, and advise on mitigation measures
• Use reuse-first and AI-assisted practices in delivery and automation to identify recurring issues and validate remediation options, ensuring changes are traceable, auditable, resilient, and secure
• Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support infrastructure analysis and documentation, validate outputs, and handle information according to its sensitivity and security requirements
