VALOR DFM (Design for Manufacturing) Engineer for Aerospace & Defense Division Candidate may work from Naperville, IL, Longmont, CO, or Westborough, MA sites. Description Of Role And Responsibilities Candidate will perform design for manufacturing analysis using VALOR platform to evaluate electronics PCBA assembly layout, in adherence with IPC guidelines, component manufacturer specification/recommendations and industry standard practices. VALOR output report will be qualified and quantified using a standard format in which risk assessment is presented for possible design modifications to improve manufacturability, quality and yield. Qualifications Candidate must be a US Citizen in order to comply with ITAR and DFAR requirements Engineering B.S. degree (Electrical) Experience managing/viewing PCB files and viewers: Cadence/Allegro

Gerber/ASCII files KiCAD Siemens Xpedition CAMvu Experience in search/interpretation of electronics part data, component libraries. Component engineering experience 3 years of experience in basic PCB design guidelines (Real Estate constraints/component proximity, thermal relief, copper density/distribution, trace/pad copper balance, etc.) PCB panel/Array design PCBA assembly experience desired (SMT/Pin through hole, Press fit interconnects) Due to ITAR and / or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen.
