Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Radiology - $1,979 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an assignment in Sanford, Florida. The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with 8‑hour day shifts. The role is a travel position. Responsibilities Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them to patients prior to imaging. Provide technical support to physicians, patients, and researchers in the use of radioactive drugs. Obtain required approval and signatures from nuclear medicine physicians. Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures. Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera. Perform procedures, including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist. Provide assistance to patients during procedures. Ensure the environment is safe for patients and staff by following safety and radiation disposal procedures. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. BLS certification. ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB‑CNMT. State‑specific licensing when required. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Benefits & Compensation Duration: 13 weeks. Pay based on 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
