Lead Preschool Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Preschool Teacher to join our dynamic early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, creating engaging learning experiences, and fostering a positive and inclusive As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will play a key role in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, building meaningful relationships with children and families, and supporting the growth and development of each child in your care. Essential Functions: Develop and implement a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that promotes the physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of preschool age children. Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, lessons, and experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued, respected, and safe to explore and learn. Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering open communication and collaboration. Conduct ongoing assessments of children’s progress and development and use data to inform instructional practices and individualized support plans. Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment at all times. Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers and classroom aides, fostering a collaborative and team-oriented approach to teaching and learning. Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding their child’s progress, achievement, and any concerns or challenges. Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training to enhance teaching skills and stay current on best practices in early childhood education. Serve as a positive role model for children and colleagues, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to early childhood education.
