Environmental Services Worker/Housekeeper

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center is a fully licensed, 182-bed, private hospital that specializes in the treatment of drug addiction, mental health issues and co-occurring disorders for adults and adolescents. This individual is responsible for daily housekeeping routines such as cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas, while ensuring a safe and risk preventive environment within OSHA regulations.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of one (1) year experience in housekeeping duties, preferably in a health care facility.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of basic housekeeping duties
• Knowledge of all code procedures
• Knowledge of risk and safety precautions
• Skill in organizing and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines
• Skill in telephone etiquette and paging procedures
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Sensitive and aware of diverse cultures and their practices
