Asphalt Roller Operator

Responsibilities Perform daily equipment inspections Perform work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions or behaviors Safely operate roller in successive overlapping passes over surfaces to be compacted, rolling asphalt to desired compaction and smoothness. Ability to communicate with supervisor and testing technician about mat compaction efforts Must be willing to work flexible shifts that include days, nights, and weekends Must be willing to do physical labor Perform other duties as directed by supervisor Minimum Qualifications Must be willing to work in all weather conditions Valid driver’s license but a CDL is preferred Must pass a pre employment drug screening and background Job requires steady to intermittent physical activity including: standing, stooping kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, shoveling, and raking Company paid medical, dental and vision 401K Paid Time Off Holiday Pay Short Term Disability Equal Opportunity Statement Knife River is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
