We maintain facilities in Macedon, NY; Westmont, IL; Williamson, NY; Pennsauken, NJ; and Corona, CA. Location Position located at the Macedon, NY facility. Shift 3rd shift – 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM, Monday–Friday. 3rd Shift Differential $1.50 per hour. What You Will Do Operate food packaging equipment and ensure that each component of the assigned line is functioning correctly. Monitor the production process, perform periodic checks, and adjust equipment or work practices to maximize production efficiency, yields, quality, and safety, using foundational elements such as Centerlines, CILs, start‑up/shutdown checklists, and troubleshooting guides while learning and growing within assigned lines. Ensure Quality Standards are met (weights, codes, packaging, placards, fill cards, filter checks, magnetic and metal‑detector checks). Troubleshoot basic mechanical features and perform mechanical tasks such as slitter/chopper blade replacements, registration repair, greasing/lubrication, line changeovers, and timing functions. Before changing from one product to another, confirm that materials, paperwork, and equipment are staged for changeover and notify Maintenance if repairs are needed. Communicate across shifts during hand‑overs, shift huddles, and with maintenance and leadership, sharing continuous‑improvement ideas. Follow all safety, quality, and GMP standards. Use production systems such as Tulip and RedZone correctly with coding and self‑audit. Help drive 5S standards. What You Need To Be Successful Minimum of 6 months of prior work experience. High‑school diploma or GED preferred. Continuous learning mindset; motivated to engage in learning opportunities. Effective communication in one‑on‑one and small‑group settings. Willingness to suggest improvements to assigned work. Ability to follow and implement written or oral instructions. Team player with constructive conflict‑management skills. Self‑starter and disciplined. Punctuality. Motivation to deliver best work each day. Successful completion of work instruction and SOP assessments. Fluently read, write, and converse in English (SVF regulations). Must achieve a satisfactory score on the mechanical aptitude assessment.
