Production Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to ensure the smooth operation of manual and automatic machines. The role involves observing the continuous operation of machines to meet product specifications and detecting any malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Observe continuous operation of manual and automatic machines to ensure products meet specifications and detect malfunctions.
• Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Set up, operate, or tend metal casting machines to cast metal parts or products.
• Position and secure work pieces on machines.
• Remove finished products from dies using hand tools, air hoses, and other equipment.
• Trim excess material from parts.

Work Environment

The work environment involves continuous exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, and vibration. The schedule runs from Monday through Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Watertown, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
