Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

New Brunswick, NJ

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required (Friday/Saturday) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood gas analysis and manage ventilators, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy for neonatal and pediatric patients
• Initiate and manage respiratory support equipment including Servo I & U and V60 BiPAP
• Respond to code situations and assist with in-house patient transport
• Administer respiratory medications and perform Chest PT
• Float between pediatric units and NICU, with potential float to adult units as needed
• Document all patient care activities using the EPIC charting system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist; PICU and/or NICU experience required
• Active New Jersey state license or Compact license required at time of submission
• BLS and NBRC certifications required
• Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) required; may be obtained onsite prior to start date
• Ability to work every other weekend (Friday/Saturday)
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 designated holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Servo I & U ventilators and V60 BiPAP equipment
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
