Medical Assistant – Medical Assistant

Schedule: Shift: 8 hours between 07:00 - 19:00 (weekdays) and 08:00 - 17:00 (weekends). Weekend availability is required.

Assignment Details

This is an administrative-only position, typically not patient-facing.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Flu vaccine (no declinations/exemptions).
• 1 year of recent Epic experience.
• Experience with appointment scheduling and patient registration.
• Ability to manage 6-8 provider pools and inboxes.
• Typing speed of 40-45 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative tasks in a healthcare setting.
• Manage provider schedules and patient appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient information and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and standards.
• Provide support to healthcare teams as needed.
