As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driving Role in Temple, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store personnel, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential theft-related activity, and report observations according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Maintain readiness to perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with site procedures, applicable laws, and Allied Universal standards while supporting a professional location environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
