A contract opportunity is available for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support a high school student for the remainder of the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite position is located at a single high school and offers a consistent weekday schedule, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in a student's daily life and educational experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and current LVN license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing
• Experience with school-aged children or within a school setting preferred
• Comfort and skill in caring for students with specialized healthcare needs, particularly tracheostomy care
• Reliable and punctual, able to meet the student’s transportation and classroom schedule
• Willingness to complete time-sensitive credentialing requirements (district fingerprinting and drug screening)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Meet the student at the bus at 6:45 a.m. and accompany them to school
• Attend all classes with the student throughout the school day
• Provide direct monitoring and trach care as needed to ensure the student’s health and safety
• Ride the school bus with the student in the morning and return to your car with them at 3:30 p.m.
• Maintain daily documentation and effective communication with school staff and family when necessary
• Adhere to all school and district health protocols and professional standards
