Electronics AssemblerLocation: Pensacola, FLShift: 1stPay: $19 - 21/hr (DOE)Job DescriptionThe Electronics Assembler performs electrical and electronic assembly on products, including sub-assemblies and component assemblies. This role is responsible for inspecting, configuring, labeling, loading software, conducting incoming inspections and testing, performing final functional testing, and preparing and packaging products for shipment.ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical assembly on products, including sub-assemblies and component assemblies according to work instructions and schematics.Carry out electronic assembly tasks using appropriate hand and power tools, soldering equipment, and microscopes when required.Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and detailed work instructions to ensure accurate and consistent assembly.Conduct inspections on incoming components and materials to verify quality and compliance with specifications.Configure products and load software as required to meet product and customer specifications.Perform labeling of products, components, and packaging in accordance with established procedures.Execute functional and final testing of assembled products to ensure proper operation and quality standards.Prepare, package, and stage completed products for shipping or further processing.Use computer systems for data entry and documentation of assembly steps, test results, and inventory counts.Participate in inventory counts and help maintain accurate records of components and finished goods.Handle and operate hand tools, power tools, micrometers, and other measurement devices safely and effectively.Work collaboratively with other assemblers and engineers on an open production floor to meet production goals.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station, following all safety and quality procedures.Essential SkillsHands-on experience in electronic assembly, including working with circuit boards and electronic components.Proficiency in soldering, including the ability to solder electronic components accurately and safely.Ability to interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and detailed work instructions.Experience using hand tools and power tools in a production or assembly environment.Mechanical assembly skills with attention to detail and quality.Basic computer skills, including computer data entry for production and quality records.Ability to perform inspections and functional testing of assembled products.Familiarity with using measurement tools such as micrometers for quality verification.Comfort working with microscopes and other visual inspection tools for detailed electronic work.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience performing inventory counts and maintaining accurate component and product records.Ability to work efficiently at a designated work station within an open floor assembly environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to following established processes and procedures.Ability to collaborate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and other team members.Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks such as assembly, testing, and packaging.Willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly techniques, tools, and product configurations.Why Work Here?You will join a small, family-oriented company that values close-knit teamwork, mutual support, and a friendly atmosphere.
