JobSummary: TheEquipmentOperatorholdsaunionpositionandisresponsibleforoperatingvariousequipmentusedinroad,site,andhighwayconstruction. EssentialFunctions: Mastery. Operateheavyequipmentofvaryingsizesandcapacitiesusedinroad,site,andhighwayconstruction,includingbutnotlimitedtopavers,shuttlebuggies,rollers,graders,rubbertireexcavators,andotherequipmentasrequired. Assistinmaintenanceandotherphysicaldutiesasneededonthejobsite. ProtectFamilyandFriends. Consistentlywearallrequiredpersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE)andcomplywithallcompanypoliciesandOSHAsafetyregulations;promptlyreportsafetyconcerns,equipmentissues,orincidentstotheConstructionManager. FollowDailyProcedures&Protocolsassetforthinjoborientations&trainings. Compulsivetinkering. Conductroutineequipmentinspectionsandperformpreventivemaintenance;cleanequipmentandreportdefectsorrepairneedstoasupervisor. Focused. Communicateeffectivelywithcoworkersandsupervisors,bothinpersonandthroughtwo-wayradios. Work-liferhythm. Maintainreliableattendanceanddemonstratedependabilityandconsistencyinmeetingscheduledworkhours.
