Opportunity: Board Certified/Board Eligible - Orthopedics Join a dedicated orthopedic surgery team in a supportive multi-specialty practice environment. You'll work alongside other specialists including internal medicine, family practice, ENT, anesthesia, dermatology, general surgery, pediatrics, ophthalmology, and more. Job Details: • Practice at an 83-bed hospital with private rooms and a close-knit, experienced orthopedic surgical team • Utilize advanced technology including Stryker MAKO robotic platform, GE multi-slice CT scanner, and new 1.5 Tesla MRI • Collaborate with a dedicated Orthopedic PA-C onsite • Benefit from flexible call requirements with the ability to transfer and collaborate with a 15-surgeon Level 1 trauma center in Duluth • Work with excellent regional physical and occupational therapy services available on-site and throughout the region • Serve a diverse population in the Virginia area (9,400) and broader regional service area (53,000) • Enjoy being only 15 minutes from Giant's Ridge, great biking on the Mesabi Trails, and just an hour from the Boundary Waters and Voyager National Park • Experience a supportive and collaborative medical community with high quality of life Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
