About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS or ALS-OB, NRP, EFM, BLS Must-Have: Fetal Monitoring and Assessment Emergency Response Postpartum Care Time Management Description: CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO START 7-10 DAYS FROM OFFER ACCEPTANCE. Weekly orientation will be conducted on Mondays. 48 hours per week guarantees available. Blocked scheduling is available. The unit consists of 9 beds, with a patient ratio of 1:1. Familiarity with EHR systems such as Centricity and Meditech is required. The ideal candidate should possess adaptability, be a team player, and have strong communication skills. Attention to detail and stamina are also important. Common diagnoses include normal spontaneous labor, preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage.
