Why You'll Love Working Here Leadership experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Paid training and professional development Bonus eligibility Annual wage increase eligibility Five (5) days of Paid Time Off annually 401(k) participation after one year of full-time service Paid for scheduled shifts that fall on major holidays Paid for scheduled shifts during unexpected facility closures Employee recognition programs, gift cards, and team events Advancement opportunities within a growing organization Work in a warm, tropical 90-degree pool environment What You'll Do Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts Lead, coach, and support instructors, lifeguards, deck supervisors, and front desk staff Ensure a safe, welcoming, and positive experience for members and families Assist with staff training, development, and performance management Support scheduling, customer service, and administrative functionsli> Maintain Goldfish Swim School's safety standards and Emergency Action Plan Help drive team engagement, accountability, and operational excellence Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required (college degree preferred) Two or more years of management experience required Experience working with children required Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to pass a background check Experience as a lifeguard, swim instructor, coach, camp counselor, childcare provider, or similar role preferred Swimming instruction experience preferred Certifications CPR/First Aid/AED, Lifeguard, and Lifeguard Instructor certifications are preferred. Required certifications will be provided through Goldfish Swim School. Work Environment: This position regularly works in a warm, humid aquatic environment with moderate noise levels. Compensation: $22-$24/hour, based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and overall fit for the role. Bonus eligibility included.
