About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Ventura MedStaff to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Kamuela, Hawaii, 96743!

Travel PACU RN is needed for 16 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in Hawaii. Certifications required ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Minimum Two (2) years Acute Care Recovery RN experience - Same Day Surgery/PACU experience. Knowledge of ASPAN standards and practice recommendations, anatomy, physiology, disease process, pharmacology, IV therapy, aseptic techniques and basic EKG. Proficient in airway management. Equipment used: Computer, Copier/Printer/Fax machine, multi-line telephone, PYXIS, Computers on wheels with scanner, Philips monitors, VS monitors, CADD pump, Infusion pumps, SCD devices, Code Carts, Hovermat ,Belmont Rapid infuser.
